Geocaching, A Haselwood Happening

Join us for a Sunday afternoon learning the basics of Geocaching and trying your skill at finding caches. The Geocaching session will be facilitated by Tai Monro and Chris Field, both avid outdoor enthusiasts with a plethora of experience in the Edmonton area.

This event runs rain or shine and includes an old fashion hot dog roast, a chance to visit Old Mill Antiques, a tour of the Haselwood Inn Bed & Breakfast and many photo ops.

Participation requires a hand held GPS unit. A minimum of 10 participants is required for a session to run. The fee is non refundable although a replacement may be sent if you are unable to attend. Participants must be 18 years or older and reasonably fit. If there is sufficient request a limited number (8-15) handheld GPS units may be rented for the session at $12.00 each.

Cloverlodge Stampede

Cloverlodge Stampede is an LRA Sponsored Rodeo. Once again, folks will be entertained with the Wild Pony Race which involves local children as competitors. Also on site is a beer gardens, childrens' activities, rodeo clown (Squirrely Earl) and food booth. The Cloverlodge Stampede is also proud to present "The Wild Mustang Show" this year. Start time for the Cloverlodge Stampede on July 12th is 6:00 pm.(Viking Gymkhana Club has a free meet at noon for spectators) Start time for July 13th is 2:30 pm with slack events starting at 8:00 am. Drum Circle, A Ladies Day Out

Join us for a Sunday afternoon in the country including a Drum Circle facilitated by Carol Breitkreutz. No experience is necessary, not even musical ability!

This event runs rain or shine and includes an old fashion hot dog roast, a chance to visit Old Mill Antiques, a tour of the Haselwood Inn Bed & Breakfast and many photo ops.

A minimum of 10 participants is required for a session to run. The fee is non refundable although a replacement may be sent if you are unable to attend. Come alone or with a group.

Smoke, precision, speed and synchronized high performance aerobatics will be on display as incredible performers take to the skies. This spectacular event is based at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum and features a minimum of nine well known in-air acts, including the world renowned Canadian Forces Snowbirds, and displays of static aircraft on the museum grounds. Visitors will also be able to see aircraft from the Reynolds-Alberta Museum collection – the second largest aviation collection in Canada.
