Description : This six-week class teaches safe modifications to Yoga and Pilates for women with uncomplicated pregnancies who are in their first, second, and third trimesters. Trends in the Contemporary Muslim World: Nationalism and Religion in Turkey and Indonesia

Description : Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi will focus on the emergence of the nationalist/secularist nation-state in Turkey and Indonesia, and its position vis-a-vis religion and religious communities in both countries. He will also highlight the responses of contemporary Muslim intellectuals in those two countries to the nation-state and secularism. Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi was recently appointed to the Islamic Chair at the University of Alberta. He was Co-Director of the Macdonald Centre for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, Hartford Seminary. He is a research fellow of the Chester Ronning Centre.
