The Camrose Chamber of Commerce

Big Valley Jamboree Parade

The Big Valley Jamboree weekend (August 2nd – August 5th) is fast approaching and the Camrose Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting the “Big Valley Parade”. It is the 9th year for the parade that marks the start of the Big Valley Jamboree country music weekend in Camrose. The parade included over 100 entries last year, in 2006, and is one of the largest parades in all of Alberta. Marching bands, beautiful creative floats, local dignitaries, horses, carriages and unique cars are just a few of the several participants from all over Alberta who make up this great parade. This is an entertaining family event that you won’t want to miss. Bring the family, come with friends or co-workers, become part of one of Camrose’s most exciting weekends of the year!

The Parade will be held on August 2nd, and starts at 10:30am, get there early with your chair to stake out your vantage point for viewing the parade and sit back, relax and enjoy one of the best parades in Alberta.

This parade is also a great way to showcase your business or organization, in a fun and entertaining atmosphere, in front of thousands of spectators. You don’t have to have the biggest float, just the Camrose spirit and a smile. To register for the parade, visit http://www.camrosechamber.ca/ or call the Chamber office at 780-672-4217. Deadline for registration is July 27, 2007.
