Jaywalkers Jamboree

Fun for the whole family!

Camrose Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 50th Anniversary Jaywalkers Jamboree, making it one of Alberta’s longest running annual Street Carnivals/Festivals. This one is going to be one to remember!

For this unique celebration the City of Camrose will close the entire Main Street to motor vehicle traffic.  In place of the cars there will be midway rides and games for all ages, 2 stages with continuous entertainment and over 70 booths with an assortment of games, crafts, unbelievable sales and lots and lots of wonderful food! Once again, West Coast Amusements will provide thrilling and chilling rides for all ages.  This is a one-of-a-kind, outdoor, fun in the sun festival,
so bring your friends or the entire family to enjoy the day.
Jaywalkers Jamboree starts with its traditional Pancake Breakfast on Friday morning from 7:30 til 9:30am, which includes the opening ceremonies at 8:30am. After the exceptional and filling breakfast, spend the rest of Friday jaywalking down Main Street, taking in the entertainment, sales, contests, special events, rides, attractions and don’t forget about the food! Also, don’t forget to stop by Duggan Mall where there will be more sales, a Farmers Market (on Saturday until 4pm) and a lot more of exciting events happening. Drive-In Friday night with the movie starting at 11pm, call the Chamber to take advantage of the pre-sale special of $10.00 per car, $15.00 at the gates. Don’t miss this event that was such a huge success it sold out last year.

On Saturday things really take off with crowds of people and families coming from all over to take part in the fun!  Start the day once again with a Pancake Breakfast (8 til 10am) and move on to enjoy the many attractions that this festival has to offer.
